UM Cross & Flame American University United Methodist Community

Bible Study
The AU United Methodist Community sponsors a number of Bible studies and opportunities for reflection. We have studies that are for the purpose of devotion and for the purpose of in-depth study.

Bible Studies include in-depth explorations of particular biblical books (such as the Book of Revelation) and studies that follow the weekly lectionary readings. There are also study groups for those willing to expand their horizons--our Jewish-Christian Interfaith Study Group co-sponsored by the AU Hillel Foundation is a popular group for interfaith dialogue and discussion.

Current Bible Study groups (Fall 2009) are:

Baptist Fellowship Bible Study, Mondays, 8:00 p.m., Kay Lounge (for more info, click here)

Episcopal Ministry Bible Study, Tuesdays 6:30 p.m., Kay Lounge (for more info, click here)

Women's Bible Study: Song of Solomon, Wednesdays, 7 p.m.
This Bible study lead by Sara, one of our seminary interns, meets every week at Kay beginning September 2. The study lasts for eight weeks. For more information, e-mail Sara at sara {at} aumethodists.org
